Simple Pictures 8

Wow!  I knew it had been a while since I last posted, but February?!  Yikes.  I hope all of you out there have been enjoying your summer.  

I’ve been spending a lot of my time out at the beach, my favorite spot.  I’m not a beach bum; I only go out towards sunset.  I love watching the boats coming in through the channel and of course watch the sunset over the water.  The 2 pictures featured tonight were from earlier in the year before summer officially hit the beach.  The snow fences had been removed and the sand had been graded and flattened to prepare the beach.  But then a wind came across, creating all the lines.  Each footprint stayed outlined long after the person had left the area.  It would be too easy to slap a well known poem up here about footprints in the sand, but I chose to appreciate this picture and the beauty it captures.  The stillness.  The anticipation.
